THINK Learning Studio’s popular Discovery Course gives you everything you need to start implementing Project-Based Learning in your classroom or learning environment.

We start with the basic theories and tenets underpinning place-based and challenge-based learning, giving you plenty of hands-on experience designing and implementing projects so you can return to your teaching practice trained and excited to try new strategies in your school.

Day 3

Radical Collaboration

  • Guest lecture on Experiential Learning
  • How to collaborate across disciplines
  • Unpacking student project examples
  • Exercise: refine individual projects
  • Networking groups (primary, middle, high, university)

Day 4

Putting It All Together

  • Group Design Thinking challenge
  • Process portfolio insights and exemplars
  • Present individual and group projects for peer review
  • Interdisciplinary and cross-curricular collaborations
  • Exercise: Create mini module outlines

Day 5

Celebrating Shared Ideas 

  • Student showcases and public presentations
  • Present individual and group projects for peer review
  • Evaluate personal progress using assessment rubric
