Nicholas J. Martino is an internationally renowned expert in project-based, authentic, and social-emotional learning. Having taught anthropology and led global learning expeditions for a decade, Nick now oversees transformative educational change as the co-founder and CEO of Meta-Learning.
He builds upon his exceptional experience to reimagine the entire educational system, offering personalized and immersive skills development to children 13+. Nick previously helped design the Changemaker Curriculum at THINK Global School and at BIT School in Mexico, where he was recognized as the Country Lead for Education Innovation by HundrED.
Over the years, Nick has lent his expertise as a consultant for numerous groundbreaking organizations, including Headrush and Plus Wonder.
In 2011, he was recognized as Washington Post Teacher of the Year and as Virginia’s Stafford County Teacher of the Year, following his 2009 award for Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction. After years of teaching, creating curriculums, and connecting with fellow learning pioneers, Nick continues to share his passion for education and build meaningful relationships with students, inspiring youth to make a positive dent in the world. He looks forward to further harnessing his educational leadership to redefine excellence with meta-learning.
Nick acts as a strategic consultant for the THINK Learning Studio at present guiding our Middle Years project with the Dalton School Hong Kong.
